August 2009 Clothing Catalog

Miami here! I’m here to post for Spike while he’s not here. There is a new Clothing Catalog out. You can now buy the new colour aqua, but I have some info on the new colour.

I went on Paint and took the colour pixels from Aqua and took the pixel from blue. It’s not 100% the same, but the two colours are very similar.

Anyways, back to cheats.

Click the spot on the piano for the Red Viking Helmet. Open and close it four times for the blue viking helmet.

Click the word “Penguins” for the Crystal Staff. I like this item.

Click the shell for the Canteen.

Click the window for the Woodsman’s Hat.

Click the Dragon shadow for the Blue Dragon Costume.

There is a new flag pin, Colombia.

The shirt called “The Splatter” that was in the poll a month ago is now available.

Taking a Break!

St. Patrick’s Day Party!

Sup penguins? The St. Patrick’s day party is out, and it is awesome!

You can find the free item in the Coffee Shop. It’s a special Leprechaun Hat!

Also, there is a special party room in the Forest. Only members can access it it though. In the special room, you can find the Accordian!

The new pin is out too! It is a Lucky Coin pin, and it can be found at the Ski Mountain. (It’s at the end of the rainbow!)

White Puffles & New Clothing Catalog!

Sup penguins? There are now White Puffles! I love these little guys! I named my White Puffle Ice.

The White Puffle has the ability to turn anything into ice, and it is a little smaller than all the rest of the puffles. Cool!

On top of the new puffle release, there is also a new catalog out today!

Click on the big Pot O’ Gold to get the small Pot O’ Gold!

Click on the word MORE to get the Boa.

Click on the part where the two spotlights intersect to get the Red Viking Helmet.

Keep closing and opening the secret a few times, and the Blue Viking Helmet will show up!

Click on FEE on the Coffee Shop to get the Spikester!

Click on the purple part of the dance floor to get the Spikette!

Click on the A in CLEARANCE to get the Fruit Headress!

White Puffle Spotted in Puffle Roundup!

Sup penguins? I was playing Puffle Roundup, and I found the white puffle! This is amazing! I predict that the white puffle will come out tomorrow! Tomorrow, Rockhopper will be coming, there will be a new pin, and maybe the white puffle will even come out!!!!!! Here is a pic of the white puffle:

Puffle Party & Other Updates!

Sup penguins? Sorry this post is late, I was on vacation, and Miami dissapeared. He was supposed to post for me. Oh well. Anyway, there’s a lot of new things happening on CP so check it out!

First, there’s the puffle party! You can get the free puffle bandana at the Cove.

There’s also a puffle feeding area at the Snow Forts! It’s pretty awesome! Here is a pic of the room.

Throw a snowball to feed the puffles!

Also, I heard that the white puffle has been spotted around CP. Keep your eye out for them, because I’m pretty sure it will be out soon!

There is a new Better Igloos catalog out too! Here are all the secrets.

Click on the Pinata for the Aquarium.

Click on the Velvet Rope for the Welcome Mat.

Screenhog On Puffle History

Miami here! I’m posting for Spike today.  Screenhog has posted about puffle history because of the puffle party. Here is what he said.

Screenhog:

In honor of the upcoming Puffle Party, I dug really deep to find out the history of the puffle. It’s hard to believe now, but when Club Penguin launched, there were no puffles at all. At that time, the community of Club Penguin asked if they could have some kind of pet to adopt for their igloo, and we decided that, instead of using animals that already existed, we wanted to make up a completely new creature for the penguins to adopt.

 

We started sketching some ideas of what a Club Penguin pet might look like, and now, showing for the first time ever, here are some of those original sketches from November 2005:

 

Some of the ideas were combined, and the puffle as we know it now was born (although we liked the propeller one enough that we gave the green puffle a propeller cap to fly around with). We’d love to know what your very favorite thing is about puffles.

I like the blue thing with crab arms and the brown thing with six legs! What are your favorites? Anyways, that’s all for now.
